March brought a trip up north to Sweet Berry Farms. It was such a fun place to visit and the workers were so kind. We got to pick a tons of strawberries, and Harley took full advantage of the all you can eat buffet of fruit.
It was a bit windy, so Polly stayed bundled.
They have this sweet giant bubble for the kids to jump on.
Someone we all know and love hit a big birthday. Steve was the best and surprised me with a trip to the beach for a jog. The beach, the sun and I are best friends. It was nice to all be back together again.
Steve is awesome and built us a chicken coop for our cute little chickens; Daisy, Mischief and Catty. We knew we were only going to have them for a short time, so we got older hens that were already laying and got about 3 eggs a day. It was Christmas every morning to run outside and see how many eggs we'd gotten that day.
Farmer Steve and the kids also planted a neighborhood garden. Daisy was sure to take unripe carrots and pea pods to everyone :) She's such a hostess.
Mama Daisy has stayed true to her nickname and has helped immensely with the caring of the new beebee.
This handsome boy turned 5. Since it was Easter we had a neighborhood party/Easter egg hunt/pinata, it was joyous.
Soccer season also started for the Frankster. He was a perfect goalie. He loved every minute of soccer. It was unseasonably cold, which was better than being unseasonably hot.
After years of begging, the kids got razors.
