Remember!

January 2013

We've been able to see some pretty awesome places here deep in the heart.  The Riverwalk at New Year's was beautiful.  It took us about an hour to get dressed for weather this cold, we're not used it.

Japanese Tea Gardens, we saw these in the spring before we left and it was even more beautiful.

And how could we forget?

Steve fell in love with another blond haired girl.

And I think pretty much every picture I have of Harley, he has food all over his face :)  The good news is he's gotten another tooth since this picture, woo hoo!

More brevity.

December 2012

This little sweet girl was born.

These awesome grandparents came to help and meet the newest edition.

Friday movie night is the greatest.

We wrote letters to Santa.

We planted a garden, Daisy makes friends easily.

Steve and Harley made our morning fires, it was so great.  Sometimes we had to open the windows to make it cold enough in the house to start a fire.

I was very pregnant.

We like to pose.

We celebrated Hanukkah and learned about the Jews and the miracles that always attend the Lord's people.

We went to Bethlehem.  It was  a 2 hour drive a couple of days before I was due.  I was daring Polly to come, but she didn't.

We acted out the first Noel, complete with baby Polly Jesus.

Harley got boy dress ups.

We did fireworks on New Years Eve.

2012 was hard.  Nights like this make it worth it.

It sufficeth me to say...

November 2012

Sometimes, when I'm blogging, I feel like Book of Mormon writer.  Why?  Well, let's just say, it sufficeth me to say, that it does.  Sometimes I don't blog because I don't want to tell whole big long stories, so these next few posts will be brief.

Day-yay turned 7!  She invited all of her friends over to make gingerbread houses.  It sufficeth me to say that I'm a horrible crafting/making anything cool mother and that her dad made all of the blank houses for them to decorate while I cried about my shortcomings. The kids came over in the morning in their pjs, we had hot cocoa and a fire going. It was her dream come true. I love this girl - she is strong willed, determined and gorgeous.  I know where she got two of those traits.

Steve is the best Christmas decorator there is....also he got elbowed twice in the eye before we got the star on.

I really love being 8 months pregnant, see?  Check out that prego schnoz.

We had the best Thanksgiving!  It sufficeth me to say, we got to see Elder and Sister Brown, AND I didn't have to cook or clean! Woot!

I mean, I made this really fancy ice sculpture turkey...

Christmas tree hunting in Texas is easy.  I wonder what it'll be like in Korea???

It's amazing.

I'm still trying to figure out if blogger will let me keep this blog under my current email or if I have to start a new one.  So I'm slowly uploading pictures to see if I reach some sort of maximum capacity again.  Here's Harley enjoying a Thanksgiving swim.  And Polly, she's changed quite a bit, I'll post some blessing pictures soon.  Did you know her name is Pollyanna Juchau?  She's named after my fantastic relative who crossed the plains Susannah Juchau.  I just found out today she had a daughter Mary Ann, that she called Polly, and I really can't get over it.

If you're here, you're awesome.

I'm trying to see if blogger will let me start a new blog without starting a new email, so this blog might be short lived...we shall see.  In the mean time, this happened:
